Bath Salt Abuse – Is It Too Soon To Draw The link?

Bath salts are an assortment of designer chemical substances used as bath salts. The word derives from cases where the impure chemicals were disguised as bath salts. These are typically manufactured by firms that market spa products and bath merchandise. The crystals, powders, or granules often resemble Epsom salt, but are different chemically. Nevertheless, they are popular for being relaxing, alternative medicine, or simply luxurious products that make people feel good.

When considering where to buy dead sea bath salts, one should not be confused with an ordinary table salt. One must also note that bath salt is different from sea salt. Sea salt is harvested from the Dead Sea by lifting the water level and pumping the water through the sand. This type of salt is more concentrated than table salt. A bath salt product made from Dead Sea salts has become infamous for containing a variety of toxic chemicals.

Various types of psychoses have been linked to bath salts over the years. While most psychoses are believed to be mental illnesses, others are believed to be spiritual or even physical illnesses. Common psychoses associated with bath salts include schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, epilepsy, and even delusional parasitosis. Many of these psychoses can cause delusions, hallucinations, and even hallucinations. Symptoms of these psychoses include paranoia, negative delusions, grandiose schemes, and exaggerated self importance. A person with one of these psychoses can believe he or she is being visited by the dead, sees signs of illness everywhere, or believes he is being haunted by spirits.

Other psychoses that have been linked to bath salts include bi-polar disorder, major depression, dysthymia, bipolar disorder, and psychosis. The effects of these psychoses on people who take the substance are usually similar to those who use it, though some people use bath salts in excess. The psychoses associated with these substances can be extremely serious. The drugs used in bath salts have been known to cross the blood-brain barrier and enter the brain, which is highly dangerous since they have the ability to cause permanent damage to the brain.

Because bath salts contain stimulants, they can be extremely addictive and dangerous. People who use them for extended periods of time may develop severe withdrawal symptoms when they stop using them. These symptoms include restlessness, irritability, depression, anxiety, insomnia, muscle tension, and difficulty focusing. It is not uncommon for people who suffer from long-term psychosis to experience euphoric highs several times a week and become severely depressed when their “high” fades.

Though bath salts have shown a connection with mood disorders, prolonged use can also cause serious health problems. This is particularly true if long-term users do not follow safe consumption practices. People who abuse these substances are more likely to experience substance abuse and addiction problems and may also increase the chances of having heart attacks or strokes. Long-term users may also develop liver diseases, kidney diseases, and blood clots that could lead to heart attacks and stroke.
